[Branding](https://support.sumoquote.com/getting-started?hsLang=en#branding) # Branding ## Apply your company logo and colors, select the report style, and customize the wording on your report title page. The information on the Branding Page dictates the information used in all reports for all users within your SumoQuote account. ### **Customize Your Report Title Page** ### **Select a Report Theme** Each **Report Theme** will dictate the font, spacing, and page formatting in your quotes. These are different for each style. Your primary and secondary colors will also be used differently in each theme. - Go to **Configuration** \> **Branding** - Under **Report Themes** select the cover page style you like the best. A green checkmark and outline will appear around your selected theme. - Click **Save edits** at the top of the page to apply your new selection. ### Add a Company Logo - Go to **Configuration** \> **Branding** - Under **Company Logo** you can do three things: - To **ADD** your logo, drag and drop or select a .jpeg or .png file from your computer to upload your logo into SumoQuote. - To **CHANGE** your company logo, click on the **trashcan** icon to remove the current logo. Then click on **upload** in the rectangle to add a .jpeg or .png file from your computer. - To **EDIT** your company logo, click on the **edit pencil** icon to resize the image. You can also click on the **edit pencil** icon in the top left corner of the window for other editing options. Click **Save** in the top right corner to keep your changes. - Click **Save edits** at the top of the page to apply your new logo. **⚠️ Only upload .jpeg & .png files** This upload box will only allow you to upload .jpeg or .png files where the image size is a multiple of 3 (i.e. 300 x 300 pixels or 900 x 900 pixels). If your image size is not, you will need to change the image dimensions before uploading to prevent errors. 1. On your computer, open the logo file in a photo viewer application. 2. Find the **resize image** feature. 3. Set the new dimensions to "300 x 300". 4. Save changes. 5. You are now ready for upload into SumoQuote! ### Apply Brand Colors - Go to **Configuration** \> **Branding** - Under **Brand colors** you can edit your primary and secondary color choices. - Click on the **edit pencil** icon on either color. - You can select your color in a few ways: - Select one of the suggested colors from the palette at the bottom of the pop up. These are color matched to the colors in your logo. Once selected a checkmark will show up on the color. - Use the color bar to select the color (slide the grey dot left to right between colors), and then in the color box above, move to the white circle to the exact shade of that color you want to use. - Click on the up and down arrows to the right of the color code. This will allow you to enter the exact HEX, RGB or HSL values for the color you want. - Click **OK** to save your selection. - Repeat this process for the other color. - Click on the reverse arrows between the two color selections to swap the colors. - Click **Save edits** at the top of the page to apply your new logo. **⚠️ White is not a recommended Brand Color.** Some report themes use the Primary and Secondary colors for headings. These headings are on a white background, so when either of these brand colors is white, it can look like there is a large empty space at the top of your report. Our recommendation is that you use colors that are easily read, especially for your Primary color. ### Edit Account Details - Go to **Configuration** \> **Branding** - Under **Account Details** you can edit the company information that will show up on your report Title Page: - **Account Name** - Company Name as you want your Customer to see it - **Company Email** - the email address you want readily accessible for all homeowners, typically this is your general company email address - **Company Phone** - the best number for homeowners to reach your company - **Business Number** - this is your official business ID number, it will show up on invoices only - **Web Address** - your company website URL - Click on the **edit pencil** icon beside the bolded text where you can add a company slogan. This will allow you to change the text to customize it for your company. Beneath this add up to 2 tag lines you want customers to now about your company. - Click **Save edits** at the top of the page to apply your account details changes. **⚠️ Character limit for company slogan and tag lines** Each Report Theme has a different character limit for the 3 lines at the bottom of the Account Details. This means that the longer your slogan and tag lines are, the more likely it is that the text will be cut off and you will lose some of your message. We recommend using short, catchy sentences.
